I've been working at this hospital for a principal investigator for the last two months now and I work for an at will state. My boss has no semblance of work life balance and has done some extremely shady and just downright rotten things. Among them
Asked me if I needed a green card three times in the same conversation.
Refuses to answer any emails and does everything by phone calls or sometimes text.
Expects us to be on call 24/7 and work unpaid overtime
Belittled each one of us behind our backs, to each other. Saying how bad a worker X is to Y.
These are just a few of the things I want to stand up for, I know HR is there to protect the company, but I'm afraid since I'm still on probation, I might be just let go if any of my coworkers don't go to HR to stand up for themselves. The boss already confronted me and I told him my stance on why the things he is doing is wrong, so I'm sure he's looking to get me kicked off the team asap.
Any advice? How should I proceed?
