I am a shift manager for a fast food joint, and went to work today like I normally would for my midshift. I was told by the assistant GM that I cannot clock in until I speak with the general manager, who won't be back until tomorrow morning. She said she didn't know why, and I kind of believe her, because my GM is petty like that and she knew I would ask.
Best part? I spoke with the general manager on the phone this morning and she said not one word about it.
So now I'm at home wondering what the f*** I did, because honestly, I can't think of anything, and applying for jobs, because I think the way she went about this is so ridiculous.
Am I wrong here?
