My job threw me into even deeper debt that I can no longer get out of now

I secured a new job a few months ago because I’d fallen behind in some rent and needed to catch up quickly. I was explicitly promised a full 40 hours upon hire, which was a lie and quickly turned into like 25. This threw me behind even more and now I’m behind a good 2-3 months rent, not to mention all the credit card payments I’ve missed. My hole keeps digging itself deeper and I have no idea how I’ll catch up now, I think the next step for me is eviction at this point. I can’t even fully commit myself to finding a new job because I have to worry about showing up for this one. I’m absolutely pissed I got entangled with the wrong employer when I could’ve taken another job that actually gave me my promised hours and got me out the situation I was in, instead…
