left job, no insurance, may of broken back..American health care is ass.

Got another job and left my shitty previous job abruptly. Found out that previous company terminates all benefits on last day of work. Around 1pm today I went to go grab something for lunch and to drink and slipped on the top step. Fell down several steps and landed hard on my tailbone. Lost all feeling in my legs for about 10 minutes and got wind knocked out of me for a good bit. Texted my mom that I had fell down the stairs and couldn't walk/stand. She rushed home to take me to the hospital…except I have no insurance and have yet to receive the Cobra insurance papers from previous job in mail to file for that in meantime…so now 8 hours later I'm still in immense pain and relying on 1000mg Tylenol and muscle relaxers that my stepdad had from when he broke his back to keep me…

TLDR; May have broke/fractured my back or tailbone. Previous job terminated my benefits immeditaly so I can't go to the ER to get checked on. Yay American healthcare
