I'm just posting this because it really pisses me off. My co worker is like 74 years old and he has been working for a week straight without a day off, yesterday was his one day off. And because it's a busy time of year they want him to come in on his day off. The guy is always here he never calls out but he likes to have his day off of work. Which he should be allowed to have. I really hope they don't fire him because that is so messed up. He is a good worker so it really shouldn't be an issue but when it's busy here they want everyone to be here every day with no days off. There's no work/life balance here the owners are older men and have the attitude of, if you aren't always working everyday then your lazy basically. Really is frustrating.
