Hey guys I’m not sure what to do here. I’m in a super tight place, I work at my local clinic taking in workers comp patients & I’m a part time student at my local university. Recently it seems like employees that are hired like MAs or Front desk don’t last more than a few months. Within my span of almost a year I’ve seen about 5 employees come and go. My recent coworker left unexpectedly without saying anything & left me all the work, I have weeks worth of paperwork at my desk & I can’t attend to it due to the phone ringing all the time & need to attend the current patients. I get yelled at by patients & our providers because I’m falling behind or bc paperwork isn’t done yet however I’m the only one trying to juggle everything, they recently hired a new MA who’s an older person & she’s learning on her own how to work the system because I can’t find time to train her. Whenever I’m at school my coworker will text and call me all the time and if I don’t answer she’s triple text me & call me multiple times. Every time I think about my job I get anxious because I don’t want to get yelled at for being so behind. I’ve applied to other places and I Dont get a call back from anyone and I’m still applying. Not sure what to do, this job is my only source of payment for my tuition. I’m trying and I’m fed up but I feel like I don’t have a place to complain and could be a better worker or maybe I’m too harsh on myself idk.
