I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot on this. I'm still employed by the company. This is an issue with unpaid travel time for multiple jobs we've done that fall outside of our normal “home” area. Employer claims they don't have to pay travel time if jobs fall within a certain milage range from the main office, yet I cannot find any provision within the law that would allow this.
The only thing I fear is retaliation from the employer on this.
Working on finding a different job, but it's a bit of a slog.
I'm wondering how long something like this takes…
