I was super professional and gave my notice last week. Emailed and handed in, in case someone wasn't at work who needed to see it. I got no response from my boss all day Friday and through the weekend. Today they asked me to fill out resignation paperwork then fired me. I told my new job I'd start in 2 weeks, like a professional. I'm still reeling but what do I do, how do I professionally ask the new job to start earlier?
