I paid on time for 6 years, kept up cleanliness, paid every annual increase WATER AND SEWAGE MONTHLY (they’re quarterly in my area and my downstairs apt neighbor also paid them—amounting to over 3x what they actually cost), and a THREE MONTH penalty for early move out (needed 30 days notice for this too, which would have cost another few hundred if I didn’t), PLUS prorated rent for 15 days I was there before move out. And to top it off, these are the charges for what I “left them” which was a clean, scrubbed, bleached, perfectly habitable apt for after 6 years of living there. Landlords are scum and scammers.
