How Much Will It Impact My Future Walking Out of a Retail Job?

I’ve been working part-time at a big national chain retail store for the past couple of months. I always planned to quit before I went back to school this fall, but due to some recent sexual harassment scandals at the store (I was not directly involved, but the multiple harassers still work at the store, and I have to interact with them every shift) and my growing hatred for the job/managers (who tried to silence the victims), I really want to just call my manager, tell him I quit, and never come back to the store ever again, rather than giving a proper two weeks’ notice. I know I’ll be “burning a bridge,” but I don’t plan on ever working for this store/company again, so I don’t really care in that aspect.

I also don’t plan to put this on my resume as I only worked a couple months here, and even if I did, it’s corporate policy that the managers can’t say anything to another employer except to simply confirm I worked there at some point.

However, since it is a big national chain of stores, I’m scared quitting on the spot is going to somehow come back and bite me in the butt. Can they blacklist me somehow from other similar retail jobs/other companies?

Additionally, I’m currently a college student, so I obviously don’t plan on working retail once I get my degree, but I guess I have an irrational fear that one of my managers is somehow going to work their way up to being CEO of some big company I end up applying at in my career field.
