So I got chicken pox and applied for sick leaves, my manager called me on my mobile and asked how much time it'd take to recover? My Doctor prescribed me atleast 12 days of isolation along with bed rest and I informed my manager the same . Then he said he can't allow more than 2 days of leaves because client tasks' are important. Remind you I joined this organisation just 1 month back(remote work) and there's literally no dependency on me from client's end. Tell me if this isn't modern slavery.
