paid salary, but it’s hourly? this has to be illegal right?

So, I'm on contract, 3k/ month plus commission. As salary pay. But we get paid hourly. So if I miss 4 hours, I either have to make it up, or have my pay docked. Fine enough. Except there's no overtime. We cap at salary. Then we get commission on the last paycheck of each month. So July commission gets paid out end of August. Basically So you can't quit unless you want to forfeit commission. A lot of this feels very… iffy. On the legality side. (British Columbia Canada) trying to quite, but can't find a new job yet.
