Well. Here we are. Hard work. Long hours. No substantial raise to even keep up with inflation.
May lose my job unless i can keep up with the hours. The unpaid overtime. The unpaid parts that are required for me to do my job.
We got a little subtle threat today.
“Economy is bad, meet your goals, forced retirements, etc etc”. No need to say anymore. You want us to find the work and make you lots of money even when we get paid a tiny itsy bitty fraction of what we produce.
When a boomer says “Your generation has no loyalty to corporate america”. This is why.
We are one bad timesheet away from getting pink slip.
