Made a mistake on the till’ had to pay 10€ out of my pocket.

I work in a small retail store, so basically I'm working alone every day. I'm on a 36 hour contract. However, due to some collegue's being sick and whatnot I'm doing 48hours. I never make mistakes, and I'm not a Thief. I'd never steal from anyone. A few days ago I made a mistake, and gave a client who paid cash, 10€ to much in return change. I got guilt-pressured in paying this 10€ from my own pocket. Not sure how I'm supposed to feel about it. I am never sick, always arrive a half an hour early, and leave about 20 min after clock out time, since I am allowed only to close the till and shop after working hours. (Europe)
