I work in a doctor’s office, private practice, and the sole doctor owns it. My desk is over in the corner, and when I’m there I like to play some music on YouTube. I’d always keep it quiet, so that no one else could hear it unless they were next to my desk.
One day the doctor came over to hand me something, and commented on the music, I said it was because I didn’t like the radio, we had a chuckle, and then got back to work.
Today he threatened to fire me and did write me up for listening to music while doing my work.
I’m polishing up my resume tonight and getting out of this abusive relationship as soon as I can. I don’t even get paid that well to deal with his shit.
