I would love to see more content from people who have ideas about how best to organize our efforts to improve our situation.
Examples of content I would love to see:
- Tutorials and retrospectives about how best to start a union, especially from the perspective of “I was one person, this is how we became a group of 5, then 15, then 150, then 1500.”
- Stories about people who organized or volunteered for political campaigns that lead to gains for workers rights.
- Stories from people who successfully appealed to their labor boards to achieve victories against employer abuses.
It’s perfectly fine for people to voice their frustrations about their job — it’s a great starting point. But it would be even better to hear about things people actually did to improve their situations, even if a little. It would be even better still if we used this actual sub to advance those efforts for the people here.
