“Can I read more about the position anywhere?” “No!”

Hello all! I'm a college student and today I interviewed for a work-study position in an office ran by my school. I got an offer for the position through Handshake, but all it included was a time the recruiter was available to interview. Currently, I have no idea about the pay, what I'll be doing in their office. I'm starting to become a little stressed out about signing on to the position and having no idea what the pay will be or what experience I'll be gaining from the position. I work in the service industry so I'm making really decent money for my age, so I'm not sure what to do. I asked what the title says and the interviewer made no attempt to give me more information about the position. Is this normal?
