I plan on going to my manager later today and asking for a raise. Anything I should know before or tips?

I've worked security for the property for the last 2 years and the only raise I've gotten were for new years. I plan on going to my manager and asking her for a raise but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it. I've listed some talking points about the things I've done for the property that all prove I've gone above and beyond such as picking up extra shifts whenever needed (week before July 4th, I worked 3 extra days, canceling all my days off and most shifts had less than 8 hour turn around), I'm always willing to help out the people who work in the office and I'm very close to a couple of the people as well.
