Boss yelled at me and made me cry

Long story short: There was a misunderstanding between the VP and my boss and the VP told me he wanted to review my project before I send it to my boss. I told him he should be telling that to the VP since I just follow their orders. He kept yelling at me and I just stayed quiet. After he hanged up, I started crying because I couldn’t believe all the things he told me after almost five years of hard work and winning projects and making money for his company. Has anybody gone through something like that? What did you do? Should I just move on from this?
