I (F18) quit my serving job after my female boss yelled at me for being sick on my period and not being able to perform as well. There was a lack of training and lots of pettiness, so I quit!
So I am a CNA, but I haven't been able to find a good CNA job yet because I don't have a car at the moment. I've applied to around 20 jobs since (trying to find something that is reasonable without a car) and finally I found a place that–even without a car–let me apply and get an interview. The interview went great, and I signed some papers, told I was still going to get a client to care for as long as I can get to and from the area which they live. I was seemingly hired…but it's been two weeks+ since I've heard from them. The last time I actually heard from them they said they were working on my schedule. But now they will NOT answer their phone. I have called multiple times!! I have not received a schedule, nor a client, NOTHING. What the hell!!! I am young and limber and just because I don't have a car does not mean I can't work?? Why do employers put up listings just to gloss over them, outright refuse, or just do nothing. This was one of the ONLY places I got a response from and they ghosted me. Fuck you, Indeed. I am so stressed and just want money for food. What do you guys think happened?
