I'm a student and have had a hard time finding a job to accomodate my.classes. got a job at physiotherapy office that will. I do 15 hours of training.she wanted me to work today and tomorrow but I had a mani pedi booked for today so told her today doesn't work for me (didn't tell her why just that it didn't) but I could work tomorrow.she was fine with it. She texts me today to clarify that I'm not getting paid for training and won't be on the payroll until I start my independent shifts on the 11th…. She should have said that when she offered me the position so I could decide for myself if I'm willing to work for free (I'm not). Told her the job is straightforward and I won't be in until the 11th when I get paid. She was cool with it but she doesn't have a choice since she needs the staff.
