Hi all. I started a job at a new company and it involves traveling abroad for various work assignments. I was sent abroad earlier this year but they neglected to tell me I needed a work permit for the country I went to. Upper management didn't know I needed one simply because they didn't know circumstances in the destination country had changed. HR was useless as well. All they did was tell me I had to come home immediately.
The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and has made me unsure about staying at my workplace. I like my colleagues but I have no faith in the company's systems. Should I leave if they can't get basic stuff like work permits right?
