I guarantee if people were taxed like businesses, things wouldn’t be so expensive.

A business pays tax on profits. After they pay employees, inventory expenses, etc. Whatever is left they pay tax on. Often times they pay no tax as they can fudge losses, such as buying up assets as a (business expense). Why am I not taxed this way? How about you tax me after I pay rent, health insurance, car insurance, and my grocery expenses. After all these things are required for me to continue breathing, not go to prison, and work in this country. We'll see how much they approve of $2000 single bedroom apartments once it hits their bottom line.
