So my friend let’s call her M wanted to get a job. She was 19 at the time. We had a mutual friend named D that manages Night Shift at a McDonald’s. She organized an interview for M. so M got the job and that’s when things started to go wrong.
One night M was the only one in the building. D and the rest of the employees where hanging out by the garbages outside (fenced in area) smoking and listening to music. M was trained in taking orders and payment both inside and in dI’ve through but not how to make ANY of the food there. M had to take the drive through orders, guess at how to make the food , take payment and give the food all by herself.
One day the milk shake machine was empty and M told D. D said she would fill it. Instead she gave. A costumer a cup of milk.
During one shift D was talking with an employee and they were making dirty jokes. This other employee looked at M and said “I bet you she could take some cock”
D then had the gall to say that M should have come to her if there was a problem.
The last straw was when M was in the walk in. The shelves slide so when someone walked in M shouted she was back there so they wouldn’t push the shelves. They must not have heard her because they pushed the shelves and M got her hand pinned between the two shelves. Her hand was bleeding. She tired tell her manager D what happened and was ignored and the injury was not officially reported.
M gave her two weeks that night and since she was still in probation she just never came back.
