I have fibromyalgia and I’m fucking tired of working

I don't want my symptom management to be centered around staying employable. Nobody addresses the burnout and mental health problems that lead to chronic pain, and not enough people are saying “hey, maybe there's a problem with the way our society functions” it's always your responsibility to try to function in the same life that made you sick. Exercise is promoted as one of the best ways to reduce chronic pain, but I don't think work should count as exercise. A nice hike or a long swim makes me feel incredible but when I stand or sit for long periods I can feel the bones in my spine compressing together and it's so uncomfortable. And that pain never gets better. Yea that's it, this is the post. I don't have better words to explain how tired I am.
