Company is happy to drop $50,000 on a 3 day all company retreat but isn’t happy to pay $30 a month on subscription software to automate tasks

We're a start up, trying to establish correct practices and to save money. This is not a good look.

It's frustrating knowing that we happily spend a fuck ton on these events no one cares about but won't spend $500 a year on software to help the entire organization and to save time..

Very frustrating.
