I am surprised at what some of you are going through… definitely not the supervisor/manager I would want to be and seriously hope my employees are happy with me, lol.
Have PTO? Use it whenever. Sick? please don't come it (you need rest). Looking for a new position in the company, let me at the very least get you an interview with the hiring manager. Looking for a new job, I got a letter of recommendation for you (if you weren't a total d-bag). Cant work your shift, let's find another shift for you or at the very least hours that can accommodate both parties. Unfortunately my hands are tied with off cycle raises, but I keep pushing and come time for performance reviews, i try to make up for it.
I let my employees know that I am only where I am because of them (and its true not just for me but anyone in management). Just wish all those saw it the same way :/
