so i worked in a small donut chain, im a 17 year old trans guy. i feel like working there for about 2 years was awful. the owner was just trying to pretend he cares but in a way he tries to exploit me and my sibling working there, it was god fucking awful. i was shift lead in a young age of 16 and working customer service as a autistic minor was so overwhelming and i felt i should’ve quit earlier because everyone else was quitting too. with all the hard work i put in, i will still be shit on the littlest thing and the owner for about a year had a broken toilet and never bothered to fix it and makes us fix it ourselves and tell the people it’s still open despite that it doesn’t flush properly. at first when i joined, i learned the tips went to snacks and the rest who knows. but that workplace was just a god awful management, and every single disrespectful and loud customer would be allowed to get free shit on us.
i just wanted to rant about my job lol
