I work in a bakery kitchen, been there for about 4 months and realized it’s around pipes along the wall and ceiling. Looked up symptoms of mold exposure and I suddenly this rash on my hand that won’t go away and gets worse when I’m at work makes sense. I’m disgusted. I mentioned something to a coworker and they knew, which makes me think management & owners knows as well.
I’m thinking about writing an email to management requesting that the issue be addressed, to start documentation and see what happens from there. google was very unhelpful, seems OSHA doesn’t really have many rules about mold actually. Before I do anything I’m interested in what this sub has to say.
Edit: please don’t tell me to get another job I live in a rural area and this place pays decently
