I am a 43(m) who pulls orders for an auto parts distribution center. I don’t even make $17 an hour here in Texas. I AM good at it but am not compensated like I should be. I am so tired of walking 13-15 miles a day, pulling 300-400 lines of HEAVY items (brake rotors & boxed preloaded struts, to name a couple of things so tired of finishing up before lunch ONLY to have to help this clown who takes his sweet time and has less than half my lines.
I’m ranting I know, but I’m tired of being tired.
I have no college, and I have no idea what I want to do with my life, except to be happy. I think I should be able to go home with full days pay since I finish my lines before end of day.
I’m tired of being worked so strenuously.
What do you guys think I should do? I’ve applied at different places only to be turned down. I believe whoever these potential employers speak to here, are being lied to about me, and thus, reject me.
