Pissing Off Managers

I have noticed that I make people in management positions very angry. I speak up for myself but always in a professional manner. I am always eloquent and well spoken when expressing my thoughts and I always have tact (in the workplace that is) I have noticed that this enrages management. I can't tell you how many people in management positions I have made so angry I am certain I ruined at least the rest of the day for them, (one manager admitted to me he got in a fight with his wife obsessing over a text reply I sent) politely declining their attempts to manipulate me, assert unnecessary control etc. I also have seen employees lose their absolute shit and swear, freak out etc (fair enough, stress can build) but management receives it better than when I express myself. I also have seen employees lose their absolute shit and swear, freak out etc (fair enough, stress can build) but management receives it better than when I express myself. It's like they would rather me lose control over my emotions than keep calm. Anyone notice the same thing?
