New normal on Indeed?

For anyone who uses Indeed to job hunt, is it just me, or do potential employers no longer call? What I mean is, in the past (like 4 years ago, the last time I was actively using Indeed) you’d apply for a job, and you’d get a call to schedule an interview. Now it seems like everything is done through text/email. I’ve applied for over 100 jobs in the last few months and received 0 calls. Mostly just texts asking if I’m still interested in the position, and to text back or call to set up an interview. Some of these were scammers, btw. I guess I’m just wondering if it’s only me, or if this is just how things are done now. I’m not necessarily complaining, just curious/making an observation.
