Reverse the new OPS return to the office plan:

This may not be totally relevant to this sub but solidarity matters. It is not so much about work as it is about employers who rob people of their time and health through the arbitrary use of power without reason. Work from home measures have given so much of people's lives back and employers wish to take that away. There's a lot to be said why we are seeing this tendency, but I think a lot of it just comes down to narcissism on a macroscale. A person I know who works as a director in the financial industry says a lot of it comes down to the reputation of a company, its image rather, and a lot of the higher ups adopt the image of the company as their own identity. For them, having people physically in the office is something they find validating, which is inherently a selfish…

There's a lot to be said why we are seeing this tendency, but I think a lot of it just comes down to narcissism on a macroscale. For them, having people physically in the office is something they find validating, which is inherently a selfish motive. Either way, if people could sign the petition and show support, it could go a long way in building a movement that creates a healthier relationship dynamic between people and work.
