As the title suggests yes my boss takes my phone wallet and bag of belongings and locks them in his office so we don’t use them throughout the shift and this is incredibly frustrating because I’m not sure this is allowed?
I am given everything back once my shift is over undamaged and untouched but I feel practically naked knowing that if I had a family emergency I couldn’t reach my family?
As everyone works short shifts no breaks are required to use these items, didn’t know if this is against the law but wanted to find out.
