Working for almost two weeks without being able to clock in or track my hours..

Basically the title. Got hired at a restaurant in AZ on August 1st. Started on the second filled out all of my paperwork and I have still yet to receive my employee number to clock in and out. I’ve been writing down my hours worked and talking with the head chef every shift about this and nothing is happening. Advice? What should I do?!
