I'd like to spread some positivity that I encountered at my current job.
This past Wednesday my wife called me at work. Our dog was unresponsive and lifeless. I literally dropped what I was doing at work and bolted for home. I told my co-workers to inform our supervisor that I was heading home to rush my dog to the ER. Unfortunately, my dog didn't make it. However, my supervisor was understanding and was not written up for leaving my post. In an extremely dark time my supervisor showed compassion. Some bosses are actually decent people.
