A Rant about salary negotiation

been in interview cycle with this company for almost 2 months , early on they asked for my expectations about the salary and I gave them a number higer than my local average ( by 30% ) since it is the kind of companies ” lean team ” translation we over work you , also it is work from home with local and international Responsibility. they end up sending an offer with amount equivalent to 35% of my expectations ( which comes even to less than a local higer with way less complicated job ) had a meeting with them where they claimed that the offer is more than what I used to get in my last job , with a really strong impling that I somewhat lied before , the conversation got really heated and things got side ways the job is difficult and need some uncommon skills and…

they end up sending an offer with amount equivalent to 35% of my expectations ( which comes even to less than a local higer with way less complicated job )

had a meeting with them where they claimed that the offer is more than what I used to get in my last job , with a really strong impling that I somewhat lied before , the conversation got really heated and things got side ways

the job is difficult and need some uncommon skills and knowledge and the work load is big since they have a backlog and they want to hire less than a local hire for double the responsibility and international assignments , I need the job but this was honestly so low that I barely stayed professional and didn't end the meeting then and there , people from third world also deserve a fair compensation .

sorry for the rant and the incoherent status of it .
