My Boss is Actively Union Busting

I just started work at a small law firm, and I've made it no secret that someday I plan to someday open my own firm primarily focusing on labor and employment law. A week ago, I told my boss that I spent all weekend building templates and mentioned offhand that I spent all of Saturday editing a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that I found online so it would be a usable template in the future (because I have high hopes for the labor movement in the US). His tone immediately shifted, and he started saying, “Oh, you're a big union guy huh? Well they may have been useful back in the day but now they're just corrupt organizations that protect bad employees. I like how my office is and everyone else likes it too, so don't go trying to unionize us.” I never once planned to, but every day now…

His tone immediately shifted, and he started saying, “Oh, you're a big union guy huh? Well they may have been useful back in the day but now they're just corrupt organizations that protect bad employees. I like how my office is and everyone else likes it too, so don't go trying to unionize us.” I never once planned to, but every day now he's reminded me that a union would never work here and everyone is on his side, and it would make everything worse, along with other threats that have skirted the lines of what's legal.

The legal field is notoriously anti-organized labor, but I've never felt or seen an immediate shift like that from upper management. It's getting mighty uncomfortable and I'm about to try to unionize out of spite.
