Haven’t had a “real job” in 10 years and find inspiration here every day

I quit my last FT job in 2012. I hustled/freelanced and worked PT until 2019, and since then I have been working for myself and creating equity for myself for the last several years. It's not easy. Some days I'd rather be back in the office screwing the pooch on someone else's dime and mailing it in. But looking at posts in this subreddit reminds me of how unhappy and unhealthy I was working for someone else. Tons of inspiration here to never go back, and for that I thank you! My only piece of advice — bet on yourself. Be consistent. I wish I had sooner. Maybe things won't work out how you imagined, but they will work out.
