I don't mean everyone when I say “people”. I'm just wondering if I, and maybe others if anyone else sees value in it, make it a practice to not buy from big chain stores, would it help in anyway? Like going vegan, except I can eat what I want, I'd just stop buying from Safe Way, Thrifty Foods, IKEA, McDonald's, etc. I don't want to give money to big corporations that pay poorly and exploit people.
Though I know local businesses can be just as bad, so I'm not sure if it's worth going totally local. Apologies if this is a dumb question but I want to do something to help.
