My partner had a mandatory meeting today over two hours long about how unions aren’t necessary and actually cause more harm to workers. They stated that unions aren’t even necessary because they treat their employees so well so no need for a union. Even went as far as to say unions are the devil.
If they treat their employees so well why is the turnover so high, why are most of their employees on welfare, and why hasn’t there been a cost of living raise.
I really hope this pushes them and my partner to start a union. I’m happy they see a change is coming.
