For the first time in my life….

I left a job without feeling guilty or getting super nervous. This community and all the inspiring stories are mostly why! The other is at my main job my boss is so amazing I realized putting up with all crap I have from managers over the years just may not be worth it. I knew my boss was looking for a reason to fire me. I laughed when he came in five minutes before the end of my shift because I knew he was gonna have to dig deep as my shift had been impeccable. He came back to talk to me and started with the whole “this is the hardest part of my job” bullshit. I stopped him, told him to not beat around the bush, and that I was perfectly happy to not work for such a passive aggressive micromanager anymore. He straight lied to me about why…

I shrugged my shoulders, let him know I didn’t need him on my resume or as a reference, and left.

Not gonna lie….it felt good.
