I’ve been working at my current job for almost a year. When I did orientation, they told us that we would acquire points if we were late or if we did a no call/no show. Well, I found out that was a lie. I had trouble with my car (transmission) and had to call out. Well… I found out that for something beyond my control, I still get penalized. I called in to let management know of my car situation, and they told me that while I should do whatever I need to do to get my car fixed, I would still get a point for not showing up.
