I worked at a job for about two months when I realized they were absolutely abusive and horrible. Constantly changing the roles of my job, the materials I had to provide for my job, the pay, the list just goes on. I was a contracted/ 1099 employee, so essentially myself as a business was hired by another business to do a task. I performed these tasks and many others with excellence, and the owner gave me a final check, but I just got a letter from my bank that the check did not clear due to a “stop payment” order that the owner placed on it.
