It baffles my mind, really. Here I am, someone who absolutely hates working. Yet I go in to work everyday, do my job to the utmost quality, and get things done in a timely manner.
And then there are the old, conservative boomers I work with that love to spout that annoying phrase. These are the same people who take days/weeks to respond to emails, constantly seen loafing around, get downright pissy when you ask them to do their job, and when they finally do it their work is riddled with mistakes.
I’m one of the younger people at my company but I’ve never had a problem working with anyone under the age of 30 here. It’s all the old people who use phrases like “nobody wants to work anymore” & “pick yourself up by your bootstraps” who I can’t stand working with. They are all petulant babies who want no work and all play.
Nobody (and by nobody I mean old republican boomers) wants to work anymore.
