After a summer break that began with my boss sending me an email disparaging my performance, and follow-up emails insinuating I'm not in the long-term plans, I am heading back to work today for the first time and I'll have to see her. Ugh.
The criticism is BS, but there's nothing I can do about that. I have the receipts to show an extraordinarily productive year, but she's poisoned the well for the upcoming job search this spring that I was always slotted for. I just have no desire to deal with that.
I am definitely not staying after this year, but I have to find a way to put up with her. Ugh.
