I’m convinced that there is no one in the world that truly enjoys their job

I've worked in retail for almost 10 years, recently got a job in healthcare and work 100% remote. My jobs are one of those things where I let them completely run my life. Thankfully, this new job isn't like that. However, I still don't Iike my job. The fact that it is literally everything I've wanted in a job, I still wake up with existential dread. The fact that we have to spend 85% of our lives for work that most of us dont even want to do is honestly so sad. I'm also 10 weeks pregnant. Since I will not have worked for my new company for a year I will only get 6-8 weeks of maternity leave. PTO takes a very long time to accumulate so by the time I give birth I'll only have maybe one extra week if that. The fact that I will be having…

The fact that I will be having to work full time while my kid is only two months old… yes it's a work from home job and I should be grateful but I know it comes with its challenges.

What I'm trying to say here is it just seems like I will always hate and dread every single job I have and it will be a never ending cycle. I just want to win the lottery so I can fully enjoy my life for once.

(The title just means that I think a lot of us are forced to work jobs we hate because our dream jobs might be unrealistic or something we can't make an affordable living with)
