Why you NEVER go back to an employer!

I returned to my previous employer after about 2 months being gone. I worked there for almost 6 years total. It was mutual. I agreed to come back, they needed me and I obviously need to work to survive. They restarted my tenure because I’m a “new hire” (at 5 years full time we get 3 weeks vacation. I was at 4). Ok that’s fine whatever. Here’s where it gets shitty. I was supposed to have 3 vacation days when I came back because it’s prorated for the year. I informed them I had a family vacation planned in October. Now they’re saying I do not get any vacation days and I’m shit out of luck because I worked there previously and used 60 of my combined 120 hours (this is 5 sick 10 vacation) So I’m a new hire, but I’m also not a new hire. I’m so fucking…
