I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post this in.
I just quit my job at the most horrendous company (harassing and threatening employees, you name it). There was a walkout, and the next day (payday) nobody got their paychecks. It took them 3 or 4 days to issue paychecks, but they finally did. Some people didn't get paid for overtime.
This week we were all supposed to be paid for two days of the pay period before we left. However, some of us got paid more than double on accident, and they've started issuing reversals. I still have my money.
Should I take the money out and close my account? Can they come after me even if I do that?
Edit: I'm moving out of state in 6 days. I don't know if that changes the legality of anything.
