The whole, 15 minutes before shift thing.

Apparently if I don't turn up 15 minutes before my shift starts I am “late” and am reprimanded. In this 15 minutes I am expected to open up shop etc. My partner says this is totally normal that I am expected to give 15 minutes of my time for free and that it's “the same wherever she has worked” Well that doesn't make it acceptable. If you want me at a certain time you pay for it. Otherwise, if I am there if on my own time, you have no right to reprimand me for turning up apparently “3 minutes late” Agree?
